The state's largest and most well-known city, Charleston, is where I spent my college years. I totally fell in love with this charming city and its cobblestone streets, pastel antebellum houses and incredible dining scene. And I'm not the only one; Charleston has been voted Travel + Leisure's No 1 City for 9 years in a row!
