Traveling can often times be uncomfortable with long flights, cramped car rides and bare hotel rooms. And without proper rest, it’s tough to enjoy the trip!
Traveling as often as I do, I try to make it a top priority to get adequate rest so I’m always looking for ways to make traveling more comfortable.
Recently, I spent a month exploring Europe (which I knew would include lots of time spent in trains, cars and hotels!) so I decided to try out rev’pod loungewear.
Read below for my experience traveling with rev’pod loungewear!
About rev’pod™
This luxurious travel loungewear is setting out to change the game for travelers – one comfy cocoon at a time!
The rev’pod is equipped with a double zipper so it can be worn either as a long sweatshirt or fully zipped into a cozy cocoon.
With its ultra soft fabric that is lightweight yet warm, it’s easy to feel like you’ve jumped back in bed – even when you’re nowhere near home!
Designed with comfort and functionality in mind, the rev’pod has some excellent features geared for travelers.
The hood features an eye mask that will block out any unwanted light.
The sleeves double as mittens to keep your hands warm and cozy.
Inside, there are inner pockets so you don’t have to worry about losing anything while you snooze.
Plus, it conveniently folds up so that you can easily carry it on the go or even use it as a travel pillow!
Eco-Friendly, Sustainable and Ethical
That super soft fabric is made from certified MicroModal® Fibers from Lenzing which means that not only is the material high-quality and durable but it’s also eco-friendly.
On top of that, for every rev’pod purchased, a tree is planted. Frequent travel unfortunately leads to a larger carbon footprint so every sustainable step we can take to reduce that footprint is helpful.
Lastly, rev’pod is made in my home state of California which means you can expect ethical manufacturing.
My Thoughts
As I set off for my long-haul flight from LAX to London, I was very excited to try out the rev’pod since I knew I wanted to get some serious sleep!
What struck me first was the fabric – I knew it was going to be soft and warm but I didn’t realize how much of a difference it would make! Compared to my typical sweater and oversized scarf combo that I wear on flights, I felt more comfortable and relaxed being wrapped up in the rev’pod (pretty tough to do on an airplane too!).
The features came in handy as well. The fully zipped rev’pod provided a cocoon of warmth without being too heavy and the eye mask saved me from waking up when the light started streaming in.
After that, the rev’pod became my go to loungewear – from chilly mornings in Austria to sailing through Croatia, I was never far from comfort!

It looks so comfy! It’s seems like a luxury to travel with lounge wear. I like the full length one whether traveling or at home.

It made traveling so much nicer actually — like crawling into my own cozy blanket cocoon! And it’s actually the same one pictured throughout — you can wear it like a hoodie and button up the bottom or you can fully zip it so you are enclosed in a cocoon of comfort!

It’s seriously the coziest! And, yep, I took it all across Europe about a month ago — it was wonderful to have during flights, car rides and just lounging around. I’m obsessed 🙂

Especially loved the shots of you wearing the rev’pod on the balcony near that beautiful lake — that destination must have been SPECTACULAR! Truly wonderful images…
Excited to see where your next adventure takes you — CIAO!!! 😉
