About Nobelos Seaside Lodge & Bio Restaurant
Escape to the enchanting island of Zakynthos, where the azure waters of the Ionian Sea meet the lush landscapes, and discover a haven of tranquility at Nobelos Seaside Lodge & Bio Restaurant.
Nestled on the northeastern coast of the island (not far from the famous Blue Caves and the little cove of Agios Nikolaos beach), this family-owned seaside hotel offers a unique blend of natural beauty, charming accommodations, and a culinary experience that celebrates organic, locally-sourced ingredients.
Seaside Lodge
Since we booked our lodging in Zakynthos at the last minute, there were unfortunately no rooms available at Nobelos boutique hotel… But I would definitely be interested in staying here on my next visit to Zakynthos!
The hotel is home to just four seaside suites, each one with its own unique charm. The suites vary in their style and size — some suites (1 bedroom) can accommodate up to 2 people while others (2 bedrooms) can sleep 4 people. Pricing for the suites starts around $140 – $180 per night. However, the room rates during peak season (summer months) will be closer to $400 – $600 per night.
The suites are equipped with private bathrooms, complimentary wireless internet access, air conditioning (essential for those hot summer nights!), and amenities like complimentary toiletries, a hair dryer and iron and ironing board. The suites also have private balconies with sea views so you can begin your day waking up to the gentle sounds of the sea. Perfect for a room service made-to-order breakfast to spend a leisurely morning on your private outdoor sun terrace, sipping a cup of freshly brewed coffee while taking in the panoramic vistas of the Ionian Sea.
Adorned with simple yet charming furnishings, traditional decoration and antique art, these accommodations provide the perfect backdrop for a relaxing retreat. Just make sure to reserve your suite well in advance since there’s such limited availability!
Beach Club
Bask in the warm Mediterranean sun on comfortable loungers, take a refreshing swim in the sea, or simply unwind with a good book in hand at this fabulous beachfront location. The serene ambiance of Nobelos Seaside Lodge provides the ideal setting for a day of relaxation and rejuvenation.
My husband and I arrived to Nobelos in the morning and were shown to our beach loungers overlooking the sea in an idyllic setting. The beach chairs are very comfortable and come with an umbrella for shade and a table for drinks.
The beach is set on one of the most serene and beautiful coves with crystal-clear waters and a spectacular view of a beautiful little islet. It truly is paradise on earth!
I spent the day jumping in the cove, floating in the sea, and snorkeling the coastline looking for fish and sea life — yep, I am a true pisces. And, I was lucky enough to swim with an octopus right in front of the beach club… It was very a cool experience!
To spend the day at the beach club at Nobelos, there is a minimum spend of 50€ per person… Which was easy to do! We enjoyed a bottle of wine and some gelato on the beach, and then sat at the restaurant for lunch.
Nobelos Bio Restaurant
Ready to delight your palate with traditional Greek cuisine crafted by talented chefs at Nobelos Bio Restaurant? Whether it’s a seafood platter, grilled vegetables, or a light salad, each dish reflects the commitment to sustainability and the rich culinary heritage of Zakynthos!
We had a truly gourmet lunch prepared with the freshest local ingredients in traditional wood ovens. I had the Greek chicken souvlaki which was incredibly delicious and my husband had several of their fresh seafood dishes including the lobster. His favorite food on the planet is sea urchin (pronounced “achinós” in Greek) and he was over-the-moon happy that they had it fresh here!
Along with the mouthwatering food, incredible flavors and warm hospitality, we were really impressed by the presentation of the Greek dishes. The sea urchin even came in a beautiful sea urchin shaped glass bowl. And, I actually wound up finding some similar ones online and gifted them to my husband for Christmas… It was a great memory of our magical day at Nobelos!
The terrace restaurant bar is situated on a lovely outdoor patio giving visitors unobstructed views of the sea and the feeling of authentic Greek island life… Sounds dreamy, right?!

- There is free self parking available onsite — a great perk for those visiting with car rentals.
- The restaurant and beach club accept credit card as one of their payment methods so no need to bring all cash.
- The beach has easy access to snorkeling so I would pack a mask and snorkeling gear, as well as a towel.
