The resort sits on a sprawling 74-acre property and features lavish accommodations, multiple dining options, a spa, private beaches, and various recreational activities, providing a serene and opulent retreat just a short drive from the bustling city of Athens.

The resort is comprised of two large buildings, called Arion and Nafsika, as well as standalone bungalows. Both the Arion and Nafsika buildings have gorgeous, modern rooms with luxury amenities but the two buildings each have a bit of a different atmosphere. Below I’ll go into some of the main differences between the two!
The Arion building is open year-round and has more of a relaxed atmosphere where the rooms feel a bit more private (since the building is taller) making it a great option for couples. It also has a mix of both sea view and pine view rooms (these rooms look out over the sprawling pine trees!).
This building is also home to the spa, Astron Lounge, Aristotle’s Beverages and Cigar bar, and several restaurants.
The Nafsika building is more buzzy and the hotel describes it as “the energetic hub of the hotel.” All rooms in this building have sea views and its only open for the high season. Here you will find several restaurants, a fitness center, and the main pool.
I stayed in the Arion building but explored the Nafsika building as well so I can give you a pretty well-rounded Four Seasons Astir Palace review! We booked an Arion Sea-view Junior Suite and couldn’t have been happier with our breathtaking views, luxe and comfortable room with its chic design, and privacy and relaxation that the Arion building afforded us. I definitely agree that the Nafsika building felt much more bustling and see-and-be-seen. So, it just depends on which vibe you prefer!
Note: guests have access to both buildings including their respective restaurants, pools, and amenities. And it’s easy to travel between the two separate buildings so you honestly don’t need to worry too much about which one you’ll be in!
The last option is the standalone bungalows which are nestled into the coastline and offer total seclusion and privacy. They have both garden and sea view bungalow options and even a few with a private pool. I don’t know about you but I’m a sucker for private plunge pools — sounds amazing, right?! Plus, the bungalows are a nice option for couples or even a small family as they have pull-out sofa beds.
