While there are tons of restaurant options in Chania, we kept hearing about a restaurant called Pallas. Since we were staying close by, we decided to make a dinner reservation and requested to be seated on the rooftop…
Read all about our experience at Pallas below!
– The Location –
Located in the heart of old town Chania, Pallas is situated directly on the harbor which makes it an ideal spot for watching the boats come and go while dining.
While the restaurant features a modern and fun, quirky interior, the best spot to dine is on the rooftop!
From there, you’ll get 360 views of old town Chania and the harbor. While in Crete, we didn’t come across any other rooftops so were surprised by this unique experience – we loved seeing Chania from above!

– The Food –
Once we saw the incredible views of Chania from the rooftop, we thought ‘this has to be the best part of the restaurant!’ But we were wrong, the food at Pallas is just as incredible as watching the sun set over Chania from above.
The menu features traditional Cretan classics as well as more modern dishes – and even sushi!
We were suprised to see sushi on a menu in Chania but were not disappointed when we tried a few of the fresh, delicious rolls.
