Located in the heart of the Adriatic Sea, Croatia neighbors Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. Croatia has a vast coastline dotted with some 1,200 islands so no trip to Croatia would be complete without a little island hopping on the itinerary!
Along with its beautiful Dalmatian coast, Croatia is home to Krka National Park and Plitvice Lakes (along with their must visit waterfalls!) as well as historic cities like Dubrovnik, Split and Korcula. And in the north, Croatia's Istrian peninsula is known for the beautiful seaside town of Rovinj, the Roman amphitheater in Pula and for its wine country and world famous truffles.
