Famous for its “clothing optional” pool party scene until 2014, The Country Club underwent some renovations and is now the place for year-round swimming and Saturday Drag Brunch.
Read all about my experience at The Country Club below!
– About –
Located in the up-and-coming Bywater neighborhood, The Country Club features a beautifully renovated restaurant with several indoor dining rooms and outdoor seating on the veranda. Located behind the restaurant is The Country Club’s private pool club – the perfect way to beat the New Orleans heat!
– The Food –
Serving up modern Creole cuisine, The Country Club’s food is delicious and filling. With dishes like pan-roasted Louisiana white shrimp, fried green tomatoes and crispy gulf oysters, you’ll want to come hungry!
Brunch is king here, with Saturdays featuring a drag brunch that books up weeks in advance (make sure to make your reservations ahead of time!). You can always expect a packed brunch crowd on the weekends enjoying bottomless mimosas!
