Ubud has become the perfect jungle hideaway for those looking to relax and unwind, and there is no place quite like Jungle Fish to do just that. There are not many resorts that open their pool to the public but Jungle Fish has a public ‘no beach’ beach club — perfect for those looking to experience the poolside luxury of a resort on a budget!
Read more about my day at Jungle Fish below!
– About Jungle Fish –
Set about 10 minutes north of Ubud, Jungle Fish features a stunning infinity pool overlooking the lush jungle with plenty of sun loungers and hanging chairs as well as food and drink options. As part of the Chapung Se Bali Resort & Spa, you can expect the same modern chic design and even book appointments at the resort’s spa (located next to the pool!).
And, the pool bar serves up delicious cocktails with fresh and locally sourced ingredients — think pink dragon fruit daquiris!
– The Restaurant –
Jungle Fish has an open air, split level design so that no matter where you are, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the jungle below.
When you decide to take a break from floating in the turquoise pool, you can order food right to your sun lounger or you can head upstairs to be seated at a table in the elegantly designed restaurant.
Here you can order from their delicious menu of Mediterranean inspired dishes including salads, sandwiches and wood oven pizzas which feature ingredients fresh from the resort’s organic garden.
– Know Before You Go –
- The entrance fee is 150,000 IDR for adults and 75,000 IDR for children and includes a pool towel and access to all of the pool amenities including the bathroom and showers.
