Never heard of McCall, Idaho? You’re not alone! This mountain town is a beautiful hidden gem and totally worth checking out for your next mountain adventure! So why visit?

While everyone is flocking to Coeur d’Alene, avoid the crowds and head to McCall to soak in the beauty of Idaho.

From the giant green pine trees that line the mountains to the crystal clear water of Lake Payette (yes, it’s glacial water!), McCall will have you feeling like you’re one with nature.
3. You’ll never be bored with all the outdoor activities
Boating, stand-up paddle boarding, hiking, biking and more.. you certainly won’t be bored and that’s only in the summer! In the winter, you’ll have skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing!

How much is Shore Lodge to stay there? Is it worth it? I live in Star Idaho so I can do day trips. Trying to find more Pilates to paddle board. The little winding river above the lake is nice but the beach from Shore lodge looks fantastic.
I had such a great stay at Shore Lodge a couple of years ago and would definitely say it feels worth it — especially the spa! Room rates will depend on your dates and room selection so I’d recommend checking their website 🙂
